Heyo! So here is the deal! I need a week off, since I can tell I’m approaching burnout and a little time off will fix it.
So next week (starting 15th September) I’m going to chill out and not update Widdershins, but I’d like to run something while I am chilling! Since I know I’m lucky enough…
I am finally officially not busy so I can probably do something this week. I’ll throw you an email when I’m not at work.
As I think some/most of you know, I’m on hiatus from my animation job, which is a more formal way of saying I’m unemployed until they have work for me again. That could be anywhere from a week to months, so money’s tight and only getting tighter as time goes on. It seems to be kind of a downtime for a lot of the studios in the area, so my hopes aren’t high for having another steady source of income until October at the earliest.
If you enjoy Doomsday, it would mean a lot to me if you’d pledge to my Patreon and help things stay afloat over here (if you’ve already pledged, you’re my hero). If you’re not comfortable making a monthly pledge, and would still like to help out, I have a Paypal as well.
Although this isn’t an official Patreon goal, based on my current amount of free time, I may go back to updating twice a week. I’ll keep you posted on that, but in the meantime, if you’re reading this, thank you. As always, the comic is free to read and will never not be, and one of the greatest gifts you can give me as its author is your attention and support.
